Classes are currently held in Bar Hill and Milton
Do you have any availability?
We do have to limit class sizes for reasons of safety and to ensure teaching quality. Though we can usually accommodate new pupils, some classes do fill up extremely quickly so we’d advise you to get in touch for information regarding availability in specific classes of interest.
How much does it cost?
We believe dance is a wonderful way of staying healthy and making new friends, so to encourage as many people as possible to participate we work hard to keep our prices accessible to all. What age can my son / daughter begin classes?
We offer 30 min ‘music and movement’ themed playdance classes, for parents and children to enjoy together from as young as 2 years. Progression into independent classes is then very much a matter of each child as an individual and can be arranged whenever you and Helene both feel it’s appropriate.
Am I too old to start?
Not at all, it’s never too late! There is no need to have had any previous experience. We offer beginners classes in a range of subjects to teens, adults, even grandparents who decide to take up dance post childhood. So, don’t worry, you’ll find yourself a class of like-minded beginners of your own age.
Do you teach boys?
Absolutely; we have a good number of male students through all ages and disciplines.
Do you offer and exams or qualifications?
Yes we do. Helene has been holding biannual examination sessions in an increasing number of subjects and levels since 1990 and the school was proud to produce it’s first fully qualified IDTA Teacher in 2006! more information

But I don’t want to take exams / perform on stage!
That’s fine too! You can get all the social and health benefits from taking dance classes without needing to focus on the qualifications or take part in the performances.
